UO grad Jamie Hartshorn and her husband have created gift annuities at their alma-maters to help students achieve their academic dreams. Hartshorn’s gift, in remembrance of Professor Charles Duncan, extends his legacy to inspire great journalists.

Students today probably couldn’t fathom completing course work without the use of computers and although many now have computers of their own, the first access to computers for students at UO didn’t arrive until 1986 when they were installed in Allen Hall.
